The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and sinister influences growing in power within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of heroes who will separate from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look unsuited, but the events of the latest installment show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise started the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his personal gain, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the group reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them few options but to journey toward the northern region in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Planners tables.

Audiences can anticipate learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
